Oak Cliff Women in Business
Heidi and I, along with Linda Holt of Square Foot Inc, started The Oak Cliff Women in Business to promote local entrepreneurs and Oak Cliff business leaders who happen to be women. Our motto: Make friends first and the business will grow. If you are a business owner or leader and live or work in Oak Cliff then you don't want to miss this opportunity to make friends with other women who are working hard to make a difference in our hood.

Donating Unwanted Stuff
This is the time of year when we think about cleaning out a closet or garage, but what to do with the stuff you don't want anymore? Those of you that know me well know that I am the first to say "donate it" - as a matter of fact, I take a bag or three to Good Will at least once a month. But not everything is donation worthy, some stuff really IS TRASH!
